On the morning of Saturday, 26 July 2025, St. Chara Developers and Hongfu Baode Holdings Co. proudly inaugurated their latest commissioned project, ROYAL PEARL, located on Achaion Street in the historic district of Ayios Andreas, Nicosia.

At 7 a.m., the directors of the two companies—Mr. Stefanou and Mrs. Li—met on site to mark the official start of construction with a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony, placing the first shovel into the soil.

Originally acquired in 2019, the project experienced delays due to the global Covid pandemic. Today, ROYAL PEARL is finally taking shape in one of Nicosia’s most prestigious neighborhoods, home to diplomatic residences and heritage architecture.

The project’s architectural vision was entrusted to Maratheftis Studio, whose design pays homage to the early modernist character of the surrounding villas. Clad in local Cypriot limestone, ROYAL PEARL elegantly merges timeless design with a sense of place, echoing the neighbourhood’s understated sophistication.
